Mylar - A4 piece of this amazing fabric

Product description

Mylar or biPET was invented in the 1950s by DuPont and ICI and used by NASA during its space missions when it was made into balloons for the Echo Satellite.
The fabric is very strong – pull it and it will not break. It resists chemicals and is semi-transparent. It has good insulating properties and is used as a thermal blanket for emergency situations – you might see it being used for marathon runners when they have finished their running and for people in shock to help conserve their body heat.
